“I have been going to Awosting for 4 years and I won’t stop going here. Awosting, without a doubt, is the best sleepaway camp in the entire world! The counselors are amazing, and all the activities are awesome. This camp is like a second home to me!”

“I went to camp at Awosting 47 years ago! Visited a few months ago. Best few summers of my life. They formed a foundation of wildlife education and helped to shape stewards of nature. I became friends with my counselor for the next FORTY years. Going to move to the area soon and will visit with Buzz and Sherry again as a senior citizen!”

“Awosting was a place where our son did his best. Put simply, the environment nurtured his kind, independent, adventurous, and loving soul and gave him the confidence to be the young man he became. You recognized something in him that often was overlooked; he was a great person and a quiet leader. We often say that Teddy was a good student and a good athlete, but he was a GREAT person and there is no question that Awosting helped him to be so. Teddy loved everything about the Camp; its rustic nature, varied activities, food, and, maybe most of all, the independence it allowed him.”
